PocketSignal is a utility for generating tones and noise signals on your Pocket PC 2002 or 2003 device. You can generate Sine, Triangle, Sawtooth and Square waves with frequencies in the range 20Hz to around 12kHz. You can also generate White Noise (random noise that has a flat distribution with frequency) and Pink Noise (random noise with a 1/f distribution).
The Pocket Signal.exe file should be copied to the \Windows\Start Menu directory on your Pocket PC. Do not try to execute the .exe on your desktop PC: it wont work!
Simply select the type of tone you wish to generate using the radio buttons. Next to each button is a simple representation of the waveform. For Sine, Triangle, Sawtooth and Square tones you can use the Frequency spin control to adjust the frequency.
Press the “Play” button to start and stop the tone. (Note: you can adjust the frequency control while the tone is playing.)
To exit Pocket Signal, tap on the “X” in the top right hand corner of the display, or use the File->Exit command. In either case, Pocket Signal terminates (it does not continue to run in the background).
To uninstall, simply delete the Pocket Signal.exe file from your Pocket PC.
